Scholarship Winner Announced

Ramsay Law Firm is proud to announce the 2023 Scholarship winner: Catherine Blount!

Martha Ramsay, the firm’s owner, was pleased by both the number and quantity of the candidates. “It was our first year offering a scholarship and we weren’t sure how many people would apply. We received more than I expected,” said Ramsay.

The candidates were an impressive group, all with GPA’s over 3.5 and having completed an essay. North Carolina high school graduates and North Carolina college students applied. North Carolina A&T was the highest represented college.

The winner, Catherine Blount, is from Greenville, NC, and plans to attend Howard University’s nursing program. “Her outstanding GPA, her well-written essay and the impact of her father’s work injury combined to make her the top candidate,” said Ramsay. “We wish her much success during her college days and hope she returns to North Carolina to help injured workers here.”
