At Ramsay Law Firm, PA, we work with families every day who have been impacted by an injury in the workplace. We’re passionate about representing these injured workers and helping them overcome the obstacles to get their life back on track.
As a part of that effort, we’ve created an annual scholarship program to support children of parents that have sustained a serious injury – whether in the workplace, in a car accident, or elsewhere. Ramsay Law Firm, PA will be awarding a $1,000.00 scholarship to a student pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree to a school located in the state of North Carolina. This scholarship is to be used exclusively for tuition or other related expenses.
Ramsay Law Firm, PA Legal Scholarship details include:
Award: $1,000.00
Start date: May 8th, 2023
End date: May 6th, 2024
Winner will be notified via email no later than June 5th, 2024
Eligible applicants must:
- Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident who is authorized to work in the country
- Be a North Carolina resident or be admitted to a school in North Carolina
Prospective scholarship recipients must submit the following entry requirements no later than May 5th, 2024:
- One-to-two page essay describing the student’s reason for pursuing college, their current career plans, and the impact that their parent’s injury had on their life.
- Proof of acceptance or attendance from a college
Award:
The $1,000.00 scholarship award will be made payable directly to the student in the form of a check and is designed to be used for educational expenses only. Scholarship recipient must submit proof of legal U.S. residency, which can include a birth certificate, passport or permanent resident card prior to award check being issued.
Deadline:
Applications for Ramsay Law Firm, PA Legal Scholarship must be received no later than the end of day on May 5th, 2024 to be considered for the award.
