Shelby Crash Involving Three Vehicles Leaves One Dead, Highway Patrol Reports
August 28 , 2025Shelby, North Carolina — August 27, 2025 — According to Queen City News and the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a tragic three-vehicle collision claimed one life.
The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of College Avenue and Skinner Road. Troopers said their initial findings show that one driver rear-ended another vehicle, forcing it into the path of a third car in a head-on impact.
Authorities confirmed that one person died at the scene. Investigators have not yet released the individual’s name or age. No additional injuries were reported from the wreck.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the deadly crash.
