Breaking News: Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Greensboro Hit-and-Run Near Randleman Road

Greensboro, North Carolina — April 30, 2025 — According to My Fox 8, a man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at the U.S. 29 North and I-40 East merge near the Randleman Road exit, according to Greensboro Police.

Officers responded to the scene around 6:35 a.m. and found the man with fatal injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, and investigators have not yet identified the vehicle involved.

The crash has raised safety concerns among locals who frequent the area. Chad Chrin, a daily pedestrian, said, “You’ve got to be alert—the later it gets, the worse it is. You’re not safe anywhere out here.” Regular commuters echoed his concerns, calling for more caution from drivers and accountability in incidents like this.
