One Dead, Another Seriously Injured After Three-Vehicle Collision in Huntersville
October 25, 2025Huntersville, North Carolina — October 24, 2025 — According to WBTV, police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash, leaving one woman dead and another driver hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to the Huntersville Police Department, officers responded to the scene along Davidson-Concord Road near Stanley McElrath Road.
Investigators said 54-year-old Priscilla Joyner was driving a Chevrolet Suburban when her vehicle crossed the centerline and sideswiped a Freightliner commercial truck before colliding with a Ford Transit van. Joyner died from her injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Transit was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Freightliner was not reported to be hurt.
Police closed the roadway for several hours as officers reconstructed the crash and cleared debris. The investigation remains ongoing.
