Motorcyclist Dies in Rock Hill Crash After Truck Fails to Yield, Police Report
February 3, 2025Rock Hill, South Carolina — February 1, 2025 — According to MSN, A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Rock Hill, according to local police.
Authorities said the collision occurred along Cherry Road near Mount Gallant Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a Ford pickup truck failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn, striking a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
Officers said the motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, was transported to Piedmont Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. His name has not yet been released.
Police confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing. No arrests or charges have been announced at this time.
