Man Killed in Late-Night Industrial Accident at Greensboro Facility
July 25 , 2025Guilford County, North Carolina — July 24, 2025 — According to My Fox 8, and High Point Police, a 59-year-old man lost his life following a workplace incident at an industrial facility in Greensboro.
The fatal incident occurred at the Cintas Corporation location on Federal Drive. The company confirmed the incident, though details remain limited as the investigation continues.
Emergency responders, including EMS and fire crews, were called to the scene shortly after 11:20 p.m. A worker had contacted emergency services to report that a coworker had become trapped in an industrial dryer.
Paramedics arrived and tragically pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the incident is classified as an occupational accident. There is currently no criminal investigation underway, and foul play is not suspected.
Investigators say they are cooperating fully with the medical examiner’s office, which will determine the exact cause of death following further examination.

On Wednesday, there was an incident at the Cintas facility in Greensboro, NC, resulting in the accidental death of one of our employee-partners. The facility is closed today. This is a tragic situation, and we are focused on ensuring the family and loved ones of our employee-partner, as well as others at the facility, have the support they need.
No additional details about the victim’s identity have been released at this time.
