Charlotte, North Carolina – September 6, 2023 – According to WCNC and the Charlotte Fire Department, around 9 a.m. Wednesday, a construction worker was seriously injured in a fall at a construction site in the 1300 block of Central Avenue, located near Hawthorne Street. Rescuers used a crane to lift the injured worker to safety.
The worker, who has not been publicly identified, was transported by Medic to an area hospital to treat serious injuries.
