Laurens County Worker Dies After Fall at Gray Court Packaging Facility
March 3, 2026Gray Court, South Carolina — March 2, 2026 — According to Fox Carolina, authorities say a Laurens County man died Sunday evening after suffering injuries in a workplace fall at a manufacturing facility in Gray Court.
The Laurens County Coroner’s Office reported that the incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at ISOFlex Packaging. According to officials, 47-year-old Jason Lambert was injured in a fall while at work.
Emergency responders transported Lambert to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he died from his injuries shortly after 6 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
An autopsy has been scheduled, and officials noted that the final cause of death is still pending.
Lambert’s family is now speaking out about the devastating loss. His daughter, Stella Lambert Garner, shared a statement remembering her father as a hardworking and devoted family man.
“That was my daddy. A real man. A provider. A protector,” Garner said. “He was the kind of father who worked until his hands hurt so his family wouldn’t have to.”
She described Lambert as someone who loved deeply and brought energy and laughter to those around him, adding that his family expected to spend many more years with him.
“He deserved to grow old surrounded by his wife, kids, and grandbabies,” Garner said. “Because of this incident, I don’t have a daddy anymore. My stepmom doesn’t have her husband anymore. Our children don’t have their Pop Pop anymore.”
Garner urged people to remember that behind workplace tragedies are families experiencing real grief.
“This isn’t just a story. This is our real life and our real loss,” she said. “Please don’t just see a workplace accident. See the life of a man who mattered deeply.”
The South Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Administration (SC OSHA) has opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Officials are working to determine what led to the fall and whether any workplace safety issues contributed to the tragedy.
