The Story of Buddy the Elf

In our radio spot, which you can listen to on local Charlotte radio stations, Buddy the Elf drops a hammer on his foot.

“Santa,” says Buddy, “I dropped a hammer on my foot, and it hurts to walk.”

Santa replies: “I’ll call my workers’ compensation company, Mr. Grinch. Hopefully, he’ll take care of you.”

Most elves hope insurance companies will take care of them on the job, but sadly, that’s not how this accident in Santa’s workshop pans out.

Buddy is a good elf, so he follows up with his employer:

“Hey, Santa – is Mr. Grinch going to take care of my medical bills?”

Unfortunately, Santa has some bad news: “The insurance company is not cooperating.”

Buddy is devastated: “But, Santa – I can’t afford to see a doctor!”

The entire North Pole is worried for Buddy. They don’t know what he will do or whether or not the insurance company will do the right thing.

Meanwhile, Buddy’s Bills are stacking up and he still can’t work.

“Santa,” cries Buddy, “I’m worried!”

Luckily, old Kris Kringle has a special Christmas Miracle up his sleeve.
